Waves (WAVES)Waves (WAVES) — cryptocurrency of the open blockchain protocol and a set of tools for developing applications and decentralized Web 3.0 solutions aimed at increasing the security, reliability and speed of IT systems. The platform, similar in its idea and functionality to Ethereum, allows any user to create their own applications, facilitating the mass implementation of the blockchain.

Waves provides simple mechanisms for creating coins (with a commission of 1 Waves), which will be the equivalent of some assets, and also implements areas such as trading, fiat and cryptocurrency exchange, voting on the blockchain and decentralized crowdfunding. As part of a crowdfunding campaign on Waves, startups can issue cryptotokens, the acquirers of which, in turn, have the opportunity to operate with them at their own discretion: buy, sell and exchange without intermediaries.

The creator of the platform, Alexander Ivanov, actively cooperates with Russian giants Gazprom, Roscosmos and others.

As of June 2021, there were 100,00 Million WAVES in circulation against a maximum supply of 100,00 Million. The most active exchange where this cryptocurrency is exchanged is Kraken.
