Satoshi Nakamoto is the person credited with creating Bitcoin and the original Bitcoin client.
In his profile on the P2P-Foundation, he stated that he was from Japan. Apparently he is about 40 years old, polite, educated, and speaks good English. There are practically no other details about his personality.
Satoshi Nakamoto developed the project since 2007, and in 2010 stopped his participation in the development of the protocol.
An article about the new cryptocurrency was published in 2008, and a year later the first software was released. Satoshi Nakamoto, who acted as a developer, communicated on online forums with specialists interested in the further development of the system. However, gradually the contact between him and his team began to weaken, and in the spring of 2011, Satoshi announced his departure “to pursue more important matters.”
No one has heard from Nakamoto since then. This person disappeared from the information space as suddenly as he appeared. Satoshi transferred full control of the Bitcoin.org domain to his colleagues, including one of the leading Bitcoin developers, Gavin Andresen.
