Back Pull

A rug pull is a term used when a project team suddenly ceases working on it, all tokens are sold, or all liquidity is withdrawn. The name comes from the phrase "pulling the rug out from under someone."

Common signs of a Rug Pull include a high token price that skyrockets in a short period of time without any liquidity protection, high activity in Twitter, Telegram and other social media platforms to quickly attract a large number of investors in a short time.

The largest examples of Rug Pull were OneCoin, Thodex, AnubisDAO, Uranium Finance.
