Liquidity (LQTY) — is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform built on the Ethereum blockchain that allows borrowers to borrow USD stablecoin (or another supported stablecoin) using ETH as collateral.
Unlike other DeFi protocols that require borrowers to collateralize loans of 150-300% of their value, Liquity only allows borrowers to collateralize loans of 110%, meaning users can borrow more using less collateral.
LQTY is the utility token of the Liquity platform and is used to provide protocol security and to distribute voting among token holders. In addition, holders of LQTY tokens can use them to participate in the distribution of transaction fees on the Liquity platform.
