Ardor (ARDR)

Ardor (ARDR) is a blockchain platform designed to be more scalable, secure, and flexible than its predecessors, particularly Nxt. Ardor was released in 2017 as a spinoff of Nxt and leverages its technology.

One of the main features of Ardor is the use of Child Chains technology, which allows the creation of many independent blockchain chains that can share a common infrastructure to reduce costs and increase scalability. This is different from other blockchain platforms, which create a separate infrastructure for each new blockchain.

Ardor also uses a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm, which means users can participate in maintaining the Ardor network using their ARDR coins, instead of the powerful computers required for mining on other blockchain platforms.

In addition, Ardor has built-in features to support smart contracts, tokenization, and the creation of your own digital assets. This makes it attractive to developers looking for a flexible and scalable platform to build their applications and economies.
