The project's unique feature lies in its token distribution mechanism. The total supply is 2,483,460,000 FLOPs, which will be distributed exclusively through airdrops, without venture capital or presales.
The network operates on a Proof of Useful Inference (PoUI) consensus mechanism. The native FLOP coin is used as a means of payment for computing resources. The network's operation involves an AI agent submitting a computation request, a miner completing the task, and validation by validators.
The initial block reward is set at 96 FLOPs and is subsequently halved every 730 days. The reward is distributed as follows: 75% goes to miners, 10% to validators, 10% to AI agents, and 5% to staking participants. After the fifth halving cycle, the reward will stabilize at 3 FLOPs per block.
Miners and validators are required to post collateral in FLOPs, with slashing penalties for incorrect calculations. It is planned that regular GPUs will be able to participate in mining, and confidential computing will be available as an additional service.
The airdrop is scheduled for Q4 2026, with the mainnet launch scheduled for Q1 2027. Previously, the editorial team Happy Coin News Reported, that Arthur Hayes has taken over as CEO of Flop Labs.
