  • Bernstein analysts expect that by mid-2027 Bitcoin will recover to a new historical high of $150,000.
  • By 2029, the coin will reach the cycle peak at around $300,000.

Analysts at investment bank Bernstein have presented an optimistic forecast for Bitcoin's price in the coming years. They estimate that the cryptocurrency could reach $150,000 by mid-2027, with the potential to reach $300,000 by 2029.

Experts attribute this forecast to the changing global macroeconomic situation. They believe the end of a 40-year era of declining interest rates and rising government debt are creating favorable conditions for growing demand for cryptocurrencies as a safe haven asset.

Rising yields create a self-perpetuating cycle of rising interest costs, growing budget deficits and increasing borrowing needs, making debt sustainability increasingly challenging, analysts said.

Several factors support Bitcoin's growth, including expanding institutional access to the cryptocurrency, an improving regulatory environment, and a growing number of holders. Approximately 59% of all Bitcoins have not changed hands in the past 12 months, indicating a long-term investment.

Under a best-case scenario involving a strong influx of institutional investment, Bitcoin's price could reach $200,000 by mid-2027, potentially rising to $500,000 by 2029. In the long term, Bernstein maintains its forecast of reaching $1 million by the end of 2033.
